In 1975, after leaving the British Royal Navy, Robert Whelan began his career in real estate as a negotiator for a major Portsmouth estate agency. This was followed by a number of years on the island of Mallorca, before finally setting up business in Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol (in the south of Spain) where in 1997 he formed Regal Real Estate.

Continuing to cater to the residential market, Britannia Business & Investment Property Brokers S.L. was founded in order to satisfy the considerable increase in the demand for commercial and investment properties at that time.
– 2014, established Hotel Brokers Europe
As a result of having successfully sold an increasing number of hotel businesses, it was decided that we would establish a distinct commercial department “Hotel Brokers Europe”, which currently focuses exclusively on hospitality real estate and related investment opportunities.
